27th July..........Border Union County Show. On the second day of Border Union it was the horse class turn. We took Santana (Sunny) and her foal LSH Unrivalled (Skye, USTINOV ex SANTANA). Sunny was entered into the hunter broodmare class and she did very well and came home with a 5th place. Skye, at only her second show, moved very well and certainly didn't disapoint with a 4th place in a very strong class. Both were very well behaved and superbly turned out.

26th July..........Border Union County Show. We had a very successful day on friday at Border Union. LSH Pippie Longstockings WON the riding pony foal class and went on to WIN CHAMPION foal. and to finish the day Sophie went on to recieve SUPREME CHAMPION RESERVE riding pony. We are very proud of our girls and they certainly performed very well.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Welton Molly the Dolly has been put to sleep at the age of 17. She has left us with a beautiful 2yo colt 'Midget'. She was a wonderful mare and she will be a huge loss to our stud and family. RIP Molly your were a gem xx

New years eve 2012 :- Very sad morning we lost Mia's amazing little pony muffin. He was truly a pony in a million and taught her so much, gave her so much confidence and took her hunting for the first time. RIP muff muff you will be missed terribly xx

We are delighted to announce that we can now offer our customers the choice of 3 well bred stallions at stud. Check out the stallion pages.

We have a new stallion arriving in January 2013 and he will be available at stud, he is a beautiful cremello and will only produce palomino and buckskin foals.

We are delighted to have back the first horse that we bought and competed under the LSH banner. Poco se Levanto or Squiggle for short is the one our horses are named after and she was broken and produced by us. We very rarely came back without a rosette when competing. We hope she will be an asset to our breeding programe, if her foals have her ability we will be very happy.

Lottie and Eddy are now fully weaned and awaiting their passports then will be ready for sale.

Our second Ustinov foal was born on 1st Sept and what a colt absolutly stunning colt. Ustinov really stamps his foals.

Our first foal by Ustinov was born on 29th July. Bean foaled a stunning black and white colt.

We have added a new member to our herd of broodmares a gorgeous chestnut pony (Holly Bobbins) who has been covered by our very own Wow. We are just waiting to scan her. She is owned in partnership with Mrs Carol Park. We hope this little mare will be an asset to the stud and hopefully produce some really smart competition ponies.

Our first two foals of the season have arrived safe and sound. LJ gave bith to a stunning dark bay filly by Decopauge on 31st May and Emma has produced a very leggy coloured colt by Solaris Buenno on 22nd June. We are absolutely thrilled with both of them (Check out the foal page for pics and info).

We have a 16.2hh ID gelding for sale please see the sales page for more details.

We have added a new mare to our herd. Santana (Sunny) is a pink papered hanoverian mare graded in the head stud book SSH. She has produced a BEF 2nd premium 2yo who scored the highest overall score for his age group in 2005. We are really excited to add this quality mare to our stud. She will be covered by Ustinov this year.

Penny has now left and has settled into her new home. We wish Penny and Cath the best of luck for the future.

IMPORTANT UPDATE, We now have 4 mares in foal for 2012. Bean and Molly have been scanned in foal to our 3yo stallion Ustinov. These will be his first foals so we eagerly await the births.

Bean has now been graded into the Main stud book BWBS.

Fantastic news, WOW our future stallion has been tested HOMOZYGOUS for the tobiano gene................................He will only produce coloured foals. So not only has he got a world class pedigree he can only throw colour!

Bean (Vabinna van de Kampert) is getting ready for her grading day with BWBS at Rachan Stud on 24th September. Best of luck to Sarah and Bean.

Ustinov and Wow have now arrived and we will get better pics of them when they have settled in and recover from their long journey. Please see stallions pages for details.

Polo (Spotless Smokey) has been competing sucessfully in one day events and jumping British Novice with only one pole down, great news and very proud of him. We are so glad Lucy and Polo are doing very well.

All our mares have been re-scanned and we seem to have mixed fortunes. Molly who was scanned in foal has lost her pregnancy. LJ is still in foal to Decopauge and Emma is scanned in foal to Solaris Buenno and Bean is not in foal. Please see foals due for details.

Penny has now been sold and will be leaving at weaning. Best of luck to Penny and Cath for the future.

Molly and LJ are scanned IN foal, please see foals due 2012 for matings.

Midget (by Spotless Smokey ex W.Molly the Dolly) has been sold to a wonderful home in Singapore. He will stay with us until he has been broken in.

Our second and final foal of this season was born on 19th May. Midget is a wonderful loud leopard spotted colt out of our SHB graded mare Molly.

April has seen the arrival of a wonderful filly by Spotless Smokey out of our BWBS graded mare Emma. Penny as we have called her is a bright bay near leopard filly with 2 white socks and a big white star.

We have now added another broodmare to the 3 mares that we currently have. A Belgian warmblood named Vabinna van de Kampert or bean for short.

Polo has now been sold and will be moving to his wonderful new home where he will commence his ridden career.

Welton Molly the Dolly and Miss Pimpinella both scanned in foal to Spotless Smokey for 2011.

Miss Pimpinella graded BWBS.
It was a good day at Rachan Stud in Hawick for us. We took our TB mare Emma along for the 1st grading at the stud and she recieved main stud book status. Mr and Mrs Crowden from Woodlander stud did the judging and gave our mare some really nice comments. We hope that Sally and David continue holding grading days etc in the future.
