About Us.

The stud is run by Gary Martin and Sarah Lannan.

Gary Martin has vast experience working in many racing/competition yards and studs throughout the country.

"I started working professionally in an Army/Navy polo yard then after 2 seasons left for New Zealand to work. On my return to the UK I worked in many disciplines from showing to dressage and from national hunt racing to working in one of the premier thoroughbred studs in the UK, renowned for turning out horses of all ages to the very best standard for the auctions. I have now settled in the Scottish Borders and have been competing horses for a variety of owners with good results. I have qualified horses for many championships, broken in and produced horses for myself and on behalf of clients. I value the experience I have gained over the last twelve years and will continue to breed and produce horses to the best of my ability".

Sarah Lannan runs the office and paperwork side of the stud and has a huge input on organising vets, farriers and choosing the right stallions to suit our mares. Sarah also manages the broodmares and foals.
